I'm a patient of Dr Sargur for the desensitisation therapy at Claremont Hospital. Dr Sargur explained thoroughly about different types of treatments and their effects during first appointment so I could consider as I recently moved to England and didn't know how the NHS and non-NHS treatments worked here.

I met Dr Sargur at Thornbury Hospital to discuss a long running skin condition that had been handled quite poorly by my G.P. practice who obviously not very experienced in such skin conditions. Dr Sargur looked at the letter from my G.P. and studied some photos I had brought of previous flare ups and medication I had taken. He then examined me and then say down and went through all the possible causes and reasons why each could be disproved.
It was obvious that Dr Sargur was very experienced in his field, to be honest it was such a relief to talk to someone who could understand the sympthoms I was describing and not seeming surprised.
In summary, Dr Sargur was a thorough & knowledgeable specialist who I would have no reservations in recommending.

Dr Sargur listened very carefully whilst I described all of my symptoms and took steps so I had all the appropriate tests. He followed up with and explained what I need to do now. I found his manner pleasing and he was easy to talk to.

I found Dr. Sargur to be extremely courteous and polite. His thorough questioning of my previous medical history, as well as the reason for my being referred to him, left me in no doubt that I was receiving the best possible care, and I could be confident in any conclusions that were reached. At the end of the consultation both my husband and I felt Dr. Sargur had explained everything in a detailed manner, and although he gave me the opportunity to ask further questions there was nothing further I could have queried.

Dr Ravishankar Sargur is a Consultant Immunologist at the Northern General Hospital.
